There will be two sittings for this menu  Midday to 12.45pm and 3.30pm to 4.45pm

 

The Beginning

Country vegetable soup, homemade bread

The Buxted Inn prawn, salmon and avocado cocktail, Marie Rose sauce

Chicken and liver parfait, grape and orange chutney, toasted brioche

Goats cheese and red pepper tartlet, rocket and balsamic glaze (v)

 

The Main Event

Roast beef, pork or chicken with all the trimmings and roast potatoes 

Seared sea bream, new potaotes, sauce vierge

Confit duck leg, sweet potato mash, red currant jus

Roasted vegetable and polenta stack, pesto dressing (v)

 

All served with a selection of Covent Garden vegetables

Lemon tart, raspberry sorbet

Sticky toffee pudding, toffee Anglaise

Chocolate marquise, hazelnut crunch

Selection of local cheeses, Harvey’s chutney, toasted walnut bread
